Training & Development
Human Resources provides training for all members of the University community, including:
- Process training for a variety of Human Resources processes and procedures
- Department presentations, workshops, or "in-service" activities to meet the host department’s particular needs
- Work team or project team sessions with specific training issues
- Special services to meet other customer needs
Workshops are available at no cost to all employees of the university, unless otherwise noted. Departments, work groups, or project teams requesting sessions designed to meet the group’s particular needs should contact Human Resources at (309) 438-8311.
Release time for university employees to attend may be granted at the discretion of your supervisor. If you have questions or need a special accommodation to fully participate in any of these sessions, please contact the program coordinator at (309) 438-8311. If special accommodations are needed, please provide sufficient time to have them arranged.
