Civil Service employment at Illinois State University is governed by the Statute and Rules of the State Universities Civil Service System. All applicants on the employment register must qualify to test for a position based on their training and experience. The HR Partner will refer candidates with the three highest scores at the time of the vacancy for an interview.
To fill a status position, work your dean, director, or staff administrator to gain approval and funding for the position. Logon on to www.jobs.ilstu.edu/hr. If you do not have a User Account, please create an account requesting to become a Hiring Manager and/or a Department Head to submit to Human Resources for approval.
