Guidelines for Sabbatical/Educational Leave Proposal
The academic ranks for tenure or tenure-track faculty at Illinois State University are: Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor.
Policies for appointment of probationary faculty are outlined in the Appointment, Salary, and Promotion and Tenure (ASPT) system. The ASPT is approved by the Illinois State University Academic Senate and conforms to the Board of Trustees governing policies.
