Online Position Description and Recruitment System for AP and CS
The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA), Public Law 99-603, requires employers to verify the identity and employment eligibility of every employee hired to work in the United States after November 6, 1986. Designated members of ISU staff, i.e., I-9 Processors, have been trained on employment eligibility verification to ensure University compliance with these federal regulations. Hiring departments should always have at least one staff member who has received I-9 training. Individuals responsible for I-9 authorization, who would like either additional specific training or training between regularly scheduled training sessions, should contact Human Resources at (309) 438-8311.
