Resignations

Employees who voluntarily separate from employment are considered to have resigned their University employment.  In most cases, two weeks notice is expected, but it can vary based on the needs of the department.  To complete the resignation process, employees need to contact their HR Partner.

Civil Service Leave

As soon as you know your employee's last day of employment, have the employee contact your department's HR Partner or Benefit Services to schedule an exit interview.

Refer the Civil Service Employee to the Employee Leave Checklist for a list of everything that needs to be done prior to leaving ISU.

Faculty & A/P Leave

Have the faculty member Contact Benefit Services for an appointment with a Benefits Counselor to reviewer insurance options and eligibility upon termination.

Refer the faculty member to the Employee Leave Checklist for a list of everything that needs to be done prior to leaving ISU.
