This training provides detailed procedures on how to add new employee information into the Alternative Program Records System (APRS) in order to immediately generate a University Identification Number (UID) for a new employee. Using APRS will enable HR to send new employees information about important orientation events, and allow hiring departments to order keys, set up telephones, request long distance codes, arrange computer services, etc. Within 48 hours of being entered into APRS, new employees will be able to: activate their University Logon Identifications (ULIDs), pick up office keys, utilize the library, pick up their Redbird cards, obtain their parking permits, and much more.
