Non-Tenure Track Hiring Process

This training provides an overview of the non-tenure track faculty hiring process. This training will:

• Provide departments with detailed procedures for hiring Non-Tenure Track faculty
• Define NTT faculty classifications, duties, and workloads
• Provide an overview of the NTTFA Bargaining Agreement
• Define union vs. non-union NTT's
• Define the terms casual, probationary, and status
• Discuss NTT salary minimums, salary increases, and longevity stipends
• Review the NTT faculty evaluation process
• Identify required forms and documentation for paying NTT faculty on regular, overload, and extra pay assignments
• Provide an understanding of the I-9 Form
