WELL Award – Wellness is Essential to Learning and Longevity

Faculty-Staff Wellness Program is celebrating 25 years of serving Illinois State University!  As a way to inspire healthy lifestyles across our fine institution, faculty, staff, and students are invited to nominate their colleagues, supervisors, professors, and mentors, for a WELL Award given through the Faculty-Staff Wellness Program.  Any current faculty or staff member of Illinois State University may be nominated for this award.

WELL Award recipients are those people who encourage those they work with to live better by embracing one or several of the seven dimensions of wellness: emotional, environmental, intellectual, physical, social, spiritual, and occupational (vocational).  Visit the following website to view Illinois State University’s definitions of the dimensions of wellness.  www.wellness.ilstu.edu/

Nominations:  Write a 100 word summary of how this person motivates you and others by their actions that support a WELL lifestyle.  Nominations will be accepted April 1 - August 31, 2009.  Recipients will be given a certificate and small engraved award to display prominently.  You may nominate more than one person as a recipient of a WELL Award.

Contact Nikki Brauer at 438-8845 for further information, or to receive a hard copy of the nomination form.

Participation is simple. Wellness becomes a reality.
