Family swims are held at Thomas Metcalf Pool from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Pool time is available for employees and families, with lifeguards provided. Parents/guardians must accompany children in the pool area, bring your own swim gear, floatation devices, and towels. Pool depth is 3 feet at shallow end and 9 feet at deep end. Family swims are offered from September – April, and registration is required.
Bring your family and enjoy an afternoon of bowling and/or billiards on campus at no cost. Each family has one lane for one and one-half hours. Choose one of three time slots: 1, 2:30, or 4 p.m. Lane bumpers are available for small children. This activity is offered during fall semesters, and registration is required.
We are excited to invite you and your immediate family members to share an afternoon at the Children's Discovery Museum in downtown Normal. The first 125 people registered will receive free admission. A reduced rate of $3.00 per person will be offered to those past the first 125. Avanti's sack lunches may be purchased for $4.00 and will be delivered to the museum the day of the event. This activity is offered during spring semesters, and registration is required.
